Ethan, Nox, and I stayed at the lord’s castle in Luwaton. Luwaton was a small territory located at the southernmost edge of the Graydon Kingdom. Because of that, it was also the last place the virus reached.

Ethan and I had never actually spent our honeymoon together after our wedding. We had been constantly deployed in the mission to eradicate the virus-infected monsters, leaving us with no time for anything else. Eventually, Theodore couldn’t bear to watch any longer and ordered us to take mandatory leave.

However, now that we had time off, we didn’t know what to do with it, and boredom quickly set in. It was Ethan who suggested we travel south. He remembered that I had once mentioned wanting to rest while looking at the sea.

“This is perfect. I was curious about the situation in the south anyway. Maybe we can even join the reinforcements.”

“Hah. Miss Cherry, you really are... If you’re planning to officially join the southern reinforcements, why not bring a doctor along as well?”
