The western region of the Briwood Kingdom, Melphis, bordered the Graydon Kingdom. Within Melphis, there was a small, rural village, Igrev, so insignificant that it wasn’t even marked on the map.

"Mom! Mom!"

A 3-year-old boy, chirping like a chick as he called for his mother, ran across the village street.

With cherry-colored hair and deep blue eyes like a lake, the boy had an unusually beautiful appearance for a rural village. However, the mother he found was even more beautiful—if anything, her beauty exceeded his.

"Mom!"

The woman, called "Mom," picked up the boy and raised him high into her arms.
