Isha quickly noticed the issue with Leon's identity, which was surprising enough for the younger generation; but what was even more unexpected was that their grandmother Veronica seemed to have subtly picked up on it too.
It turned out that Rosvisser had been harboring a hidden concern: she and her sister Isha had a close, almost sibling-like relationship. So, when she revealed everything to their grandmother, she knew that even if their grandmother disapproved, she could still gracefully exit the situation. But things were different with their grandmother.
Their grandmother came from Beicang Star, and her worldview was likely influenced by the older generations of the Dragon Clan. So, Rosvisser felt that if their grandmother couldn’t accept Leon, then it would truly be impossible to convince her otherwise.
Thinking this, Rosvisser barely had time to reflect when Isha and her older cousin had already surrounded her, their eyes filled with admiration for Grandmother Veronica’s perceptiveness, yet also with curiosity as they turned toward the strong figure standing beside them.
“I told you to get a tail to fit in, but you didn’t listen. Look, my sister figured it out!” Leon thought to himself, internally rolling his eyes at the deep attachment their grandmother held for him.
“Still,” he said aloud, “it wasn’t the lack of a tail that gave me away, was it? As Big Sister said, it was the way I named that technique.”
He still felt a bit embarrassed to think that such a minor detail about the naming convention could reveal his hidden identity as a human after all these years.
What’s going on with the translation?
I noticed it as well in the last two chapters, the names and dialogue seem to be getting mixed/changed around. Been making it a tad bit harder to read along.
