“I thought you’d like it. Let’s get off now,” Ahwin said, and Penelope quickly hopped out of the carriage.
“First, let’s get you some new clothes. You’re going to pass out from the heat in that dress.”
“I think you’re right,” Penelope agreed, already sweating under the thick winter layers.
She entered the first clothing store she saw and picked out a summer dress—a pure white flare dress, perfect for the beach. She changed into it on the spot and even chose matching shoes to complete the look.
“How do I look?”
