but, I think the author forget the fact that live birth will be way worse for the clans defense lol. Compared to cocoon birth which will make the 'mother' vulnerable for a while, live birth and pregnancy will make the mother vulnerable for months. Also, it would be WAY harder because, for love, the dragon clan would need to find a partner who they could absolutely trust to be their spouse for hundreds of years.
