Looks like Leon managed to survive after the blood curse cause Rosswiess gave him her heartscale. Looking at the art in the manhua looks like they actually paid attention to this detail. This honestly seems like a great development. Leon's been getting stronger so he might be turning into a dragon hybrid which means he'll live long enough to raise their kids. Probably explains why he can't accumulate magic anymore too. Its being stored in the heartscale instead of his own damaged heart
Ight that explanation was a bit of a an ass pull but I'm glad for it. Usually in time traveling scenarios you have to pull parallel worlds shenanigans to maintain continuity and avoid creating paradoxes. In order for Leon to have been able to go back in time the future where his daughters sent him back in time has to still exist or it would have never been possible for him to go back in the first place. Kind of lazy writing to just completely ignore that but I prefer this to the alternative of there being a timeline where his original family stays in that bad timeline while Leon goes and has a happy life with a different version of them. Honestly I wouldn't put it past Aurora to have lied to him to put his mind at ease but I'd rather not think about that.

I'm really annoyed Leon didn't do something about the heartscales from all the dragon kings he killed earlier. Like dude knows the empire is collecting them. He knows how dangerous they can be and yet he left them for the empire to take. If he wasn't gonna use them then should have at least destroyed them
